City Watch 1″ Collectable Pin

£80.00

“Over the door a motto in the ancient tongue of the city was now almost eroded by time and grime and lichen, but could just be made out:

FABRICATI DIEM, PVNC

It translated–according to Sergeant Colon, who had served in foreign parts and considered himself an expert on languages–as “To Protect and to Serve.”

Originally released in early 2008, this was one of the first collectable pins ever produced. Following on from the immensely popular 1in version, this pin features the famous City Watch emblem and the iconic motto ‘Fabricati Diem Pvnc’ – ‘Make My Day, Punk’.

“The Alchemists’ Guild is opposite the Gamblers’ Guild. Usually. Sometimes it’s above it, or below it, or falling in bits around it. The gamblers are occasionally asked why they continue to maintain an establishment opposite a Guild which accidentally blows up its Guild Hall every few months, and they say: ‘Did you read the sign on the door when you came in?’” — Terry Pratchett – Men At Arms
