Vetinari Family Crest Collectable Pin

Released way back in 2009, this Vetinari Family Crest sits on a sword featuring the Ankh Morpork owl as the hilt. The solid black enamel is framed by beautifully detailed pewter flourishes which in turn is enveloped by luxurious  lilac enamel and gold curtains.

The family motto on the metallic scroll – Si non confectus, non reficiattranslates ‘If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it’.

The Last Hero Collectable Pin

Taken from the best selling novel ‘The Last Hero’, this pin was originally released in June 2010. The artwork features at the beginning of the book engulfed in flames. This collectable pin uses that same image depicting the Great A’Tuin and Cohen’s sword.

The turtle is gold coloured and the sword silver. It measures 36mm along the length of the sword. This badge comes in a small drawstring pouch.

Guild of Seamstresses’ Collectable Pin

Originally released in 2010, this collector’s pin proved to be the most popular one ever released, selling in record time and quickly becoming something of a Discworld rarity. Featuring the motto NIL VOLVPTI, SINE LVCRE (No Pleasure Without Pay), it depicts the emblem of the Guild; a red street lamp, encircled by threads and crossed with two needles* on a black enamel background complete with golden stars.

*A survey of the Guild of Merchants in the docks area of Ankh-Morpork found 987 women who gave their profession as “seamstress” – and two needles.

The Alchemist’s Guild Collectable Pin

Originally released in 2010, this collector’s pin proved to be the most popular one ever released, selling in record time and quickly becoming something of a Discworld rarity. Featuring the motto OMNIS QVI, CORVSCAT EST OR (All That Glitters Is Gold), the panels depict flames and fire on blue and red enamel backgrounds.

“The Alchemists’ Guild is opposite the Gamblers’ Guild. Usually. Sometimes it’s above it, or below it, or falling in bits around it. Fools’ Guild Crest Collectable Pin

Released in April 2010, this gem from our collectable pin series depicts the Guild of Fools and Joculators and College of Clowns, or “Fools’ Guild” for short. Originally, it was the Guild of Fools, Joculators, Minstrels, Buffoons and Mime Artists, but following the advent of Lord Vetinari as Patrician, the bit about Mime Artists was discreetly dropped. The design is composed from black, white, blue and red enamel and features three golden bells, hilarious. The guild motto on the pewter scroll – Dico Dico Dico – translates as ‘I say, I say, I say’.

Thieves’ Guild Collector’s Pin

Originally released back in 2010, this collectable pin celebrates Ankh-Morpork’s most larcenous organisation, The Thieves Guild.  The classic black and white design depicts a cut purse spilling it’s contents. The Guild motto – ACVTVS ID VERBERAT translates as “Whip it Quick”!

Lord Vetinari Pin

Released way back in 2009, this Vetinari pin was set to be the first in a series of character pins depicting the citizens of Anhk Morpork.  The second being Ponder, of which only a prototype exists. The design features a finely detailed Lord Havelock Vetinari set in pewter on a gold background with a burgundy enamel border.

Thin, pale, and clad all in dusty black, the Patrician always put Ridcully in mind of a predatory flamingo, if you could find a flamingo that was black and had the patience of a rock.

Fools’ Guild Collectable Pin Badge

In Terry Pratchett‘s Discworld series of fantasy novels, the Fools’ Guild (full title: The Guild of Fools and Joculators and College of Clowns) is a trading and training organisation for clowns, jesters and other practitioners of slapstick humour. It is located in Ankh-Morpork, the largest city on the Discworld, next door to the Guild of Assassins, for which it is often mistaken.

This design is comprised of black, white and azure enamel flanked by two silver four legged friends. Finished with three golden bells and some rather lovely red gems.

Guild motto on the metallic scroll – Dico Dico Dico – translates as ‘I say, I say, I say’.

Originally released in 2010, this intricate pin measures 30mm high and features Errol (Goodboy Bindle Featherstone of Quirm). Based on Paul Kidby’s illustration of Errol, this badge is edged with bronze featuring the name of the sanctuary as well as small brick-style detailing which includes a tiny coal bucket. The interior combines white and orange enamel and the motto ‘Don’t Let My Flame Go Out‘.

“Over the door a motto in the ancient tongue of the city was now almost eroded by time and grime and lichen, but could just be made out:

FABRICATI DIEM, PVNC

It translated–according to Sergeant Colon, who had served in foreign parts and considered himself an expert on languages–as “To Protect and to Serve.”

Originally released in early 2008, this was one of the first collectable pins ever produced. Following on from the immensely popular 1in version, this pin features the famous City Watch emblem and the iconic motto ‘Fabricati Diem Pvnc’ – ‘Make My Day, Punk’.

The Glorious Revolution 2009 Collectable Pin

This edition of our Glorious Revolution collectable pin was originally released in May 2009. The coin shape is encircled with the peoples’ motto, “Truth, Justice, Freedom, Reasonably Priced Love and a Hard Boiled Egg”.

Once again, the design depicts the lilac but this time surrounding a hard-boiled egg on a pedestal.

‘Moss had grown over the wooden markers of the other six, but it had been scraped off the central one, revealing the name:
John Keel
And carved underneath, by someone who had taken some pains, was:
How Do They Rise Up
A huge wreath of lilac flowers, bound with purple ribbon, had been placed on the grave. On top of it, tied around with another piece of purple ribbon, was an egg.’

The Glorious Revolution 2010 Collectable Pin

This collectable pin was released in 2010, again to commemorate the boys from Treacle Mine Road and remember the Glorious Revolution. It features John Keel AMCW badge showing his officer number, 354. The Ankh Morpork owl proudly holds it in his talons whilst lilac blooms surround the shield and two lanterns add further detail.

Overall the pin displays fine detailing and beautiful enameling in green, red, blue and lilac.

Convention 2010 – Discworld Cup Pin Badge

Originally released back in 2009 to celebrate the publication of Unseen Academicals. A second unnumbered run was then also released to celebrate the 2010 Discworld Convention.

It features Great A’Tuin and the Disc resting atop of a ‘World’ Cup. There’s a multitude of wonderfully fine detail and the pin is hand finished with green enamel adorning the base.
